Renovations to the Johnston City Hall
Johnston, RI

The Town originally formed an integral part of Providence, but was incorporated into a separate township in March 6, 1759.  Its name was given in honor of the Hon. August Johnston, the attorney-general of the Colony at that time.  The Johnston City Hall was originally built in the 1800’s. The Town of Johnston administration asked Thomas Lonardo & associates to renovate the exterior shell of the building due to disrepair. The building renovations encompassed brick façade repointing, removal and replacement of damaged/rotted wood fascias/trim, the removal of the existing slate roof and the built-in gutter system. All of the work was accomplished within the Historical renovations guidelines in a timely fashion.
