St. Clare Parish Center
Misquamicut, RI
Project Completed 2009

St. Clare Church is located on the shoreline of historical Westerly Rhode Island. The church was originally built close to the beach, but during the hurricane of 1938, the church was swept out to sea. Pastor Rev. Kenneth J. Suibielski led the way for building a state of the art parish center. The new facility will hold Religious Education and other church related events since the spaces were designed to be flexible. The Facility contains three meeting rooms with folding partitions to give it flexibility for different types of events. The Great Room is extravagant open area able to serve parishioners and public alike. A full commercial kitchen is the ancillary space to the great room. A connector between the parish center and the church was constructed in order to provide the public handicap access to the main church.
